It automatically prioritises the clean energy delivered by the solar panels to recharge the batteries, thereby reducing the load placed on the alternator. No external solar controller is required. “Overwintering” function This feature maintains the charge of the starter battery by drawing a small amount of the energy available on the auxiliary side. At the same time, the vehicle is stationary, and an onboard or external charger maintains the auxiliary battery.
