Description Beautiful things happen when we work together. The Northampton Shear notions & pencil case is the product of not one, not two, but four local producers and makers! Wool from two Northamptonshire flocks, the Ashby Shetlands and Astcote Leicester Longwools, was gathered and spun into yarn. Some yarn was handspun, some kept in its natural colour, and some was hand dyed in the RiverKnits Weedon Bec studio before continuing its journey at the Broughs Handwoven studio in Upper Stowe to be handwoven on a natural linen warp and sewn together with a British wool felt backing, natural linen lining, and metal zip. It’s the perfect mash-up of Broughs Handwoven’s contemporary style and RiverKnits palettes. Care This item is woven using 100% natural fibres. To prolong its life, clean any marks with a damp cloth. Hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent and lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry.
